Terms of service.
These terms govern your use of Shoozas Studio. Placing an order means you agree to them. If anything is unclear, email hello@shoozas.com before ordering.
The service
Shoozas Studio is a mail-in cleaning and restoration service for sneakers and hats, operated by BENDUO LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "us") in the United States. Shoozas® is a registered trademark of BENDUO LLC. We provide prepaid round-trip shipping, professional cleaning at our studio, and end-to-end tracking through your account.
Accounts
You need an account to place an order. We create one automatically using the email you provide at checkout. You can sign in anytime via magic link or, later, with a password. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Orders and payment
When you place an order you authorize us to charge the payment method on file for the services selected. Prices shown at checkout are in USD and include free round-trip US shipping.
If our team identifies during inspection that your pair needs a different tier or an add-on service, we propose an upgrade via in-order chat. Cleaning does not proceed on the upgraded scope until you approve — if you approve with a saved card on file, we charge the upgrade amount off-session. You can also pay upgrades one-off via our checkout.
Shipping and risk of loss
Shipping both ways is covered by us using our carrier of choice (default USPS). We generate the inbound label and email it to you; you pack and drop off, or schedule a carrier pickup.
Risk of loss while in your possession (before the carrier scans the package in) remains with you. Once the carrier has picked up the package, carrier insurance and our shipping policy apply through delivery back to you.
Photos of your items
We photograph every item on arrival and before return shipment, internally, to document condition and support you if a question arises. You grant us a limited license to use these photos for the purpose of fulfilling your order and for internal quality review. We do not publish or share these photos without your explicit consent (see our Privacy Policy).
What we can't clean
We reserve the right to decline service for items that are:
- Counterfeit, unauthorized replicas, or suspected to be stolen.
- Contaminated with biohazards (blood, mold, etc.) or hazardous substances.
- So structurally compromised that cleaning would cause further damage (we'll flag this via chat before proceeding).
- Outside our supported categories (see our FAQ).
If we cannot clean your item, we return it to you at no charge and refund the service fee.
Damage, loss, and our liability
We handle every pair with care and maintain professional processes. In the rare event something goes wrong in our studio:
- Minor issues — we redo the service at no charge.
- Material damage caused by us— we reimburse you up to the documented value of the item, capped at a reasonable amount we'll communicate transparently case-by-case. Provide proof of purchase where possible.
- Damage or loss in transit — carrier insurance covers the insured value; we work with the carrier on any claim and keep you updated through chat.
Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Cancellations and refunds
- Before you ship your items (label generated but the carrier hasn't picked it up yet) — full refund. We void the prepaid label at no cost to you.
- After you ship — in transit or already arrived at the studio: refund minus the actual shipping costs we incur (inbound label + return label, typically $15–30 depending on zone). Once we receive the package we ship it back to you.
- Once cleaning has started: case-by-case, handled through chat. The remaining refund depends on materials and labor already used.
- Once we've shipped your items back: not refundable — the work is done.
Please request all cancellations through the chat inside your order page — that's where our team can act on them fastest.

Shoozas® and Stress-free Shoe Care® are registered trademarks of BENDUO LLC. The Shoozas logo, site design, and content are owned by BENDUO LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our trademarks, logos, or content without written permission, except as strictly necessary to use the service.
Your content (messages, notes on orders, and photographs you share with us) remains yours; you grant us the limited license needed to provide the service and support you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care but make no warranty that every result will match your expectations. Cleaning outcomes depend on material, age, and condition. Except as expressly stated here, the service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we'll update the date at the top and notify you by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
